01 Mar Demi Lovato Meets Florida School Shooting Survivors

Demi Lovato is showing support for the survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.  Six students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School were brought on stage at the singer’s first show of her new tour in San Diego Monday night.  She commended them for their bravery in front of the fans in attendance, then sang one of her songs that focuses on battling through struggles in life and coming out even stronger.  Lovato and corporate sponsors paid for the students to come to the show to help shed light on mental health issues, which Lovato herself has dealt with.  She said in a press release the night was “incredibly special.”
