Post 23 of 2383

Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” is once again reshaping chart history. The singer-songwriter’s worldwide hit just became only the seventh song to have spent at least 20 weeks at number one on the “Billboard” Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart. The track ties Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are” with 20 weeks atop the survey, and trails Adele’s “Hello,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway” and Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come,” each having spent 21 weeks ruling the chart. Train’s “Hey Soul Sister” logged 22 weeks at number one and Uncle Kracker featuring Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” leads with 28.
