Zayn Malik is revealing that as a very young member of One Direction he used to get profiled at some U.S. airports. In a new interview with the U.K.’s “Evening Standard,” Malik said he would go through “three security checks” before boarding a plane, and he was usually told it had, quote “something to do with my name.” Malik believes his Muslim heritage played a role in being kept for up to three hours, where he was questioned “about all kinds of crazy stuff.”
