Rihanna is one of the world’s most successful singers and a tireless philanthropist as well. In a ceremony held yesterday, the Harvard University Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations honored the Barbados-born singer with the 2017 Harvard Humanitarian of the Year Award. During her acceptance speech, she said that as a child she would say to herself, “When I grow up and I get rich, I’m gonna save kids all over the world.” Mission accomplished.
