Police are investigating a case in which a scammer pretended to be Ed Sheeran’s manager in order to score four Super Bowl tickets. TMZ reports a scammer contacted The Giving Back Fund charity promising Sheeran would perform at the nonprofit’s pre-Super Bowl party in exchange for four VIP tickets valued at about 50-thousand dollars. The alleged manager met with the charity beforehand to accept the tickets, and even showed them a fraudulent contract with Sheeran’s forged signature, and was never seen again. The tickets were later re-sold.
